Employee records, qualifications, and training history live in one place instead of scattered spreadsheets. Supervisors see who is current on required training and certifications before crews mobilize, and expiration reminders help you act before gaps turn into stop-work moments.
Starter and above include training tracking alongside documents and AI cataloging. Daily hot work, confined space, and out-of-basket permits can be uploaded from the field on every plan, tracked until marked complete, and filed under Documents. When you need a snapshot for a customer or internal review, one-click OSHA Excel export pulls employees, certifications, evaluations, and a certification matrix (for admin and safety roles)—supporting audit-ready documentation without claiming automatic regulatory compliance.
Starter+
Safety paperwork piles up fast: orientation sheets, equipment certs, JSAs, and customer-specific forms. TacSafe uses AI-assisted cataloging on Starter and above to help classify and organize uploads so files are easier to find when a GC asks for proof or when you rotate supers between jobsites.
Cataloging works alongside your normal document library—you choose what to upload, and the system helps reduce manual sorting. Combined with training tracking and qualifications, documents stay linked to the people and programs they support rather than floating in a shared drive with unclear ownership.
Growth & Professional
Practical evaluations and field sign-offs need to happen where work happens—not only in the trailer after the fact. On Growth and Professional plans, the TacSafe Field PWA lets crews capture signed practical evaluations and related uploads from mobile devices, attaching evidence to employee records your safety team can review from the dashboard.
Growth also includes AI hazard assessments in the Field app and Knowledge Manager to tie assessments back to your safety program. Incident tracking and dashboard analytics help supervisors spot patterns. Professional adds projects and project safety manuals when you organize crews and documentation by job—without changing the core field capture flow for evaluations and sign-offs.
All plans
General contractors coordinate many subs; each company still owns its employee data and sensitive documents. TacSafe keeps every company's records private, secure, and separated on all plans—so you can run a centralized safety program without exposing one sub's roster or medical-adjacent files to another.
Role permissions on Professional refine who sees what inside a company. Combined with structured training, cataloged documents, and field capture on higher tiers, privacy boundaries stay intact while GCs get the visibility they need for coordination—not unrestricted folder access.
